I love to blush. I feel like it’s one of those makeup products that tie in with the whole look. But, I always struggle to find blushes that show up on brown skin. So, I tested the glossier cloud paints to see if they were brown girl-approved. Here are my honest thoughts on some of the most popular glossier cloud paint blushes on brown skin.

Glossier Cloud Paint Gel Cream Blush
While these were extremely popular back in the day, these blushes still have a strong cult following. While marketed as a gel cream blush they are a liquid consistency. I reviewed some of the classic shades although I would love to test out some of the newer ones.
I can’t say I am the biggest fan of the packaging. The exterior gets dirty quickly, and it’s easy to squeeze out too much product. The tiny cap is annoying to deal with, and although it hasn’t exploded yet while traveling, I am always a bit scared.
What I will say, is the cloud paints are somewhat long-lasting with a satin finish. A little bit goes a long way, but the blushes are easy to diffuse. So, if you accidentally put too much on, it’s easy to blend out the glossier cloud paints.

Beam Glossier Cloud Paint
I enjoy Beam on my skin tone for an everyday flush of color. It is a youthful muted pink that adds the right amount of color. However, in the peak of summer, this shade is too light. So, if you have darker skin than I do, this will probably be a skip. While I enjoy this shade of the glossier cloud paint, it is a very subtle flush. Nothing too noticeable. Dusk may be a better option for darker skin, but that shade leans more brown than pink.
There is white pigment in this shade so if you have a deeper skin tone the white will peak through. The site describes this shade as a soft peach but it leans more pink than orange.

Dawn Glossier Cloud Paint
I love Dawn for the perfect summer flush. It is a bright orange-red blush shade that gives you a beautiful sunkissed glow. This is one of my favorites from the collection, and I love that it shows up well on brown skin. A little goes a long way with this shade, and it works on me even when I am a few shades deeper. If you enjoy bright coral shades then I think you’d love this option. The color is quite vibrant and easy to build up as well.
Dawn is described as a sunny coral which is the perfect description.

Storm Glossier Cloud Paint
Storm is my favorite cloud paint so far for the cooler months. I love the deep berry shade on my skin tone. Since it leans warm, it looks great on the skin. I feel like this shade has tiny shimmer particles in it which will give your skin a nice glow without looking greasy. This is another well-loved shade year-round that has great pigment payoff.
Storm is described as a warm rose but it’s a darker berry brown.

Haze Glossier Cloud Paint
I wanted to love Haze because purple blush is supposed to look great on brown skin. However, this shade had a different consistency and was way too watery. While you could still apply it on the skin, once blended, it barely showed up. You need more product with this shade than the rest. That being said, this is my least favorite from the ones I tried out.
It is difficult to work with, and I am not a fan of the shade of brown skin. I feel that it looked a bit unnatural for a blush shade.

Glossier Cloud Paint Blush Review
These gel-cream blushes are a sheer, buildable blush that leaves a natural finish to the skin, just as the online side describes. However, I think they have a more liquid blush texture compared to the gel-cream description. They give a fresh, dewy flush and seamless finish.

My most favorite to least is as follows: Storm, Dawn, Beam, Haze. I hope you found this helpful and let me know in the comments!
