Sometimes you just get a little stinky. But what if you could go about enjoying your life without having to worry about it again? These tips will help you do exactly that. Trust me. I was also wondering how I can smell good all day. I got terrible, generic answers until I found what worked. In this blog post, we’ll look past the generic, blanket statements and talk about how to smell good all day.

Keep in Mind
Keep in mind that sweating is inevitable if you are on the sweatier side. Even with a good antiperspirant, you are bound to perspire. It’s how our body cools off in heat and anxious situations. But we can make sure that sweat isn’t smelling. So let’s talk about how to smell good all day.
Wash Your Pits Daily
We know that we should be showering daily, but sometimes we don’t pay enough attention to our armpits when learning how to smell good all day. Our creamy, scented body washes aren’t going to help here. There’s enough oil, bacteria, old deodorant, and sweat in that area so you need something a bit more cleansing. Opt for a basic bar stop or clear body wash that makes you feel clean. This makes sure you get all the bacteria and products off your skin.
If you’re in a pinch or need something extra clarifying, use a detox or clarifying shampoo. It works really well to reset the area.

Use Benzoyl Peroxide
Benzoyl Peroxide works really well to kill odor-causing bacteria. If you are trying to figure out how to smell good all day, then you need to try this. Massage a 5% Benzoyl Peroxide cleanser into your armpits and surrounding area for 30 seconds and then let it sit for a few minutes.
This will help drastically to stop you from smelling bad. Doing this daily is a game changer when it comes to learning how to smell good all day.
Exfoliate
In the same realm as the above two points, you want to make sure there are no dead skin cells on your armpits that can feed the odor-causing bacteria. Exfoliating your armpits with a glycolic or salicylic acid can tremendously help keep the bacteria out. Do this once a week as a maintenance treatment to smell good all the time. Or at least not bad. 🙂
Use an AHA Deodorant
This is the number one thing that changed how I smell day in and day out. If you are trying to figure out how to smell good all day, you need an AHA deodorant. This fights the bacteria all day and even if you are sweating, it won’t cause any odor.
Remember that it is a deodorant and not an antiperspirant, so it won’t stop you from sweating. It will, however, keep you from getting body odor. Apply the gel-like deodorant and let dry before putting on any clothing so the product can sink into the skin.
My favorite is from Kosas because they smell nice and you get the most bang for your buck. I’ve been using mine for months, and there is still more product to get through.
Wear Looser Clothing
To prevent sweating and body odor, try to wear loose-fitting clothing. This keeps your body cooler and more comfortable. In turn, you’ll sweat less and not produce body odor. If the above methods aren’t helping with smelling good all day, try this out.

Invest in Perfume Oils
In a pinch, perfume can help mask any body odor, making you smell fresh all day. Perfume oils take it a step up because they can be applied to the skin. I love using perfume oils as a scent that can last all day on my body.
Drink Less Coffee
Coffee can increase the feeling of anxiety and cause your body to sweat even when you are just sweating at home. If you are still struggling with figuring out how to smell good all day, try cutting out coffee for about a week or two and see if it helps. Sometimes it’s things that we consume that can aggravate our stress and sweat more than anything else.
