The Balancing Clay Cleanser Lasts a Year
The Shaz and Kiks shampoo was my favorite in particular.
I wash my hair every other day and this product still lasted over a year. Personally, I’d gladly pay $42 for that kind of return on investment. The clean, natural ingredients that clean my scalp and benefit it beat any competition for miles. Check out my in-depth review on some of their products.
If nothing else, you have to try this shampoo. I’ve gotten all my greasy, fine-haired friends on it!

The Products Smell Amazing
Shaz and Kiks delivers a luxury experience.
The smell alone will transport you to a relaxing spa experience. The scent reminds me so much of India (in a wonderful way), and I love that the smell lingers in my bathroom post my shower. Plus the lather of the shampoo and creaminess of the conditioner make you feel like you are at the salon.
These formulations are true luxury at a more affordable price point.
The Packaging is Eco Friendly
Shaz and Kik’s packaging is super cute in general.
The color scheme, the images, and the thoughtfulness are on point. I still use the outer packaging on my vanity for my serums and hair care products. It’s colorful, lightweight, and fun.
The actual containers though are the perfect storage solution for shampoo and conditioner bars. I travel a lot, and the Shaz and Kiks container always comes with me, giving a home to my travel hair care. It’s small, compact, and the perfect size.
So, not only are the products worth your money, but it’s a brand that keeps on giving.

You Won’t Stop Thinking About Them
The Shaz and Kiks website claims that the shampoo thickens hair, removes build-up, and reduces hair fall.
I was skeptical, but I was also so wrong. My hair felt the healthiest and cleanest it’s ever been while consistently using the Balancing Clay Hair Cleanser. I feel like I needed to wash my hair less often, and it just looked better naturally.
I finished the products over a year ago, and still think about them. Let that statement sink in. I think there are only a handful of products I could make that statement for…
And I’ve tried over 500 beauty products.
This is definitely a true holy grail status for me. It goes without saying, but it would be a dream to have a PR package from them 🙂

It checks all the boxes from having clean ingredients, being eco-friendly, and representing South Asian tradition. The formulation and experience are simply amazing and you’ll want to keep repurchasing from the brand. It makes me so proud to know it’s a female-founded, AAPI brand, and I can’t wait to continue supporting them!
