I’ve been on a journey to switch over to inclusive, clean, and sustainable beauty products. In 2024, I wholeheartedly believe that brands should make products that include all skin tones and skin types. These 5 South Asian beauty brands are doing just that. In this blog post, I’ll walk through 5 South Asian beauty brands doing the most and mention my favorite products.

Shaz and Kiks
Shaz and Kiks was one of the first South Asian beauty brands I tried, and the brand did not disappoint. The products themselves smell amazing and work great. I love that the brand is clean and sustainable. While their shampoo was my favorite of the products I have tried, I would love to get my hands on their new turmeric hydrating line. These products level up your shower experience like nothing else.

Kulfi Beauty
Kulfi Beauty is a South Asian beauty brand that knows how to do makeup right. As someone who takes a minimal approach to makeup, I love a fun pop of color with eyeliners. Kulfi Beauty’s eyeliners are simply the best. They are hydrating, waterproof, smudge-proof, and clean. The colors are intense and show up well. My favorite color is rain check, and honestly, I am sad I haven’t tried more of their products yet.

Ranavat
Ranavat is an ayurvedic luxury skincare brought to the Western world. The detail and time put into every decision can be seen. While the price point is steep, you’re buying an experience and a part of history with these products. From the texture to the scent, every product I have tried has made me feel like I am back in India and surrounded by tradition. The best-selling saffron serum is my favorite so far, and I love that the scent lingers even after hours of wear.

Mango People
What’s better than a clean beauty brand that makes your life easier? The multisticks from Mango People are the only cream products I take with me when I travel, and I travel a lot. These multisticks are my favorite blush and lip color. The bronzer is the perfect shade for brown skin, and all the products are blendable, sustainable, and long-lasting. Probably the best part is their magnetic packaging which is so satisfying. I can’t wait to try their new lip treatment as well.

Fable and Mane
Looking for hair care past the shower routine? Fable and Mane is my absolute favorite. While I love their hair oils, I think this South Asian beauty brand should be known for its post-shower hair care. The volume spray and detangler are the perfect marriage for my fine, straight hair. I don’t know how to convey that these are the best I have ever tried. Something that works, is clean, is good for your hair, and leaves it feeling soft. I am in love.
